After torturing Coleman by putting him on a "no dairy" diet, I decided it was time to take him to the allergy dr. If you are not familiar with the offical allergy test, they put (in Coleman's case) 75 little black dots on your back with a marker and then they take the serum and make a little scratch on each little black dot. Whatever you are allergic to, that area will swell up. It was hard to take good pictures of the whole thing, but it is hard to take pictures and hold a screaming 6 year old down at the same time. If you notice the picture of him laying and eating the sucker, that nurse is rubbing his back with a cottonball and he was in HEAVEN. It itched SOOOOOO bad! :( But on the other hand, he is allergic to peas, green beans (in which is LOVES), oats, celery and he is NOT allergic to dairy. So when we got home the first thing he asked for was a glass of milk and he took one SWIG of it and then said, "It's good to be back!" It made me laugh! :)

Oh my heck! Jeff and I were dying laughing over his comment!! I'm glad you know what he's allergic to now. I have never met anyone allergic to celery, I have to say.
Yeah, I find the celery thing a bit weird myself! :) I guess I forgot to add the peanuts (no more pb & J), walnuts, almonds, and fish!
uuuuummmmmm.....his allergies are every kids dream!!! so what the heck do you feed a kid who seriously "doctor gave me a note" cant eat his veggies? if it makes you feel better, my kids cant eat grapes or chocolate! oh the horror!
That is so freakin sad! I remember when Jaden had to get that done it was horrible!
I'm glad Coley isn't allergic to dairy!
Love you guys!

I can't believe he is allergic to all that! He'll never have to eat his veggies again. That's Byron's main wish in life! That's just insane! ha ha
I hate seeing my kids in pain. But I am glad you took your camera. It is always interesting to see those kinds of things.
Oh my word! I want to have that done. That would be interesting!!! I'm glad you guys got it figured out though! Poor Coleman, NOT the green beans!!!!!
Those tests are torture! I can remember going through that as a kid. He probably thought it was worth the misery when he found out he wouldn't have to eat his veggies anymore! Whoohooo!
I would have started to question if Coleman was your son if he were allergic to milk! Didn't you use to drink something like a gallon of milk a day? He! He!
