Student of the Week! !!!

Something I remember when I was in elementary school was the "student of the week". When it was our turn we got to make a fun poster with all sorts of pictures of ourselves and our families. We got to be the "star" for the whole week. Well now days things are a little different. It was Mackenzie's turn and when I got the note that was sent home I was a little surprised. On Monday we took in a poster that was supplied by the teacher (It was not a poster. It was an 11x17 piece of paper). It had pictures of things like a crayon and it said, "My favorite color" and she was supposed to color the crayon her favorite color. Then there were pictures of all sorts of animals and she was supposed to color all the animals that she likes. Then on Tuesday she had to read a book to the class and then on Wednesday she was supposed to do a SCIENCE EXPERIMENT!! For the science part of this we did "Force & Motion". It was rather simple. We put a piece of string through a straw, blew up a balloon and taped it to the straw then let go of the balloon and the air forced the motion of the straw to move across the string. Yeah I know, I am such a genius!! HA!

Ooops!

I found this picture on someone else's blog page and I had to steal it cuz it made me laugh. This is a going away cake at a someone's work place. These were the instructions over the phone; Write "Best Wishes Suzanne" underneath that write, "We will miss you!" HA! HA! HA! I guess they got what they ordered.......sort of!!!!!!!

♥ Valentine's Day Update ♥

I just thought I would now update you on my Valentine Day Bliss

1) We had SOOO much snow I got my car stuck IN MY PARKING LOT! (Thank heavens for my dad!!)

2) I am being WAY to picky (cuz I can) and still nothing on the 2nd income!

3) Coleman was throwing up so I couldn't go into work.

4) Because I had the day off work due to a sick child, I cleaned my own house top to bottom.

5) I had the day off, but it was because of a sick child.

Thank you Mother Nature and to my poor sick child for making all these events happen on this blissful day!!!!!

My Valentine's Day Top 5

I thought I would get my Valentine's Day Wish List out there before the day actually came. Now keep in mind that these are not in any specific order......

1) All the snow to be shoveled on all the roads that I will be driving on all day. (you may call to get my agenda)

2) A 2nd income!! (Not a 2nd job, a 2nd income) ♥

3) For my kids and myself to be over this HORRIBLE flu!

4) A prepaid maid

5) A paid day off just because!

I don't really think that is asking very much, do you?????
