The joke is on me!

Ok, ok...... It's a long story and I will spare you all the details, but the other day I was "talking" with my siblings, and lets just say I should have seen this coming!

For those of you who don't know, my husband went to B.Y.U. and he is a
DIE HARD B.Y.U. fan.
And for those of you who don't know, this is the van that my husband and I own! Like I said, I should have seen this coming!!

Jadie, even after what you did, I fixed your hair in this picture! lol

(This is what our van looks like today!)

Making Memorial Memories

We couldn't have a holiday weekend without doing something fun! This holiday weekend, Mackenzie went and had a sleepover at a friends house, so we took the boys on a hike to "Craters of The Moon." We had fun!

A typical ride in the car with our boys!
(at least they were getting along!)

Our first hike. It looks a lot easier then it really is

My Boys! :)

Snow!

Our 2nd hike!
This one was a piece of cake!

Lava Rock

Had to stop to re charge their batteries! lol

In line to enter the Indian Cave

Playing in the snow

When we got out of the Indian Cave, we were on a "follow the marker" back to the trail

Then we went to pick Mackenzie up and had to have a picture with their baby ducks!

Then we came home and started a fire and roasted hamburgers and hotdogs. Then we walked to the park and played catch and watched the high school rodeo. I didn't take my camera, but it was fun!

Out with the old.....

After a remodel, you always have a few trips to go to the dump. We had a HUGE pile of crap (old sheet rock, OLD carpet, old wood from the old framing, and LOTS of old nails). Because we knew there were so many nails, we knew the only way to keep the kids from climbing on it, was to tell them the rats lived under there! lol We had been planning on using Eric's mom's truck and just taking it all to the dumb ourselves and then I had one of my brilliant moments! I called the City of Arco and asked them if they could bring a dumpster to our house. The day they brought the truck (the big Tonka and the kids called it), we instantally filled it up and found to our surprise, not a dent in our pile of old crap!!! So I called the city AGAIN and asked them if they would come get it, dump it, and bring it back. To my surprise, they did and boy, are we glad we had a tonka for this pile of CRAP!!! We figured it would have taken us 500 trips to the dump if we used a regular truck!!!

2 loads of this

equals this!!!

I can't wait to put up our huge picnic umbrella and table and just sit there and enjoy!

Challis Hot Springs!

Blake's morning class was going on a field trip to Challis Hot Springs so Eric and I decided to take pull all of our kids out of school that day and we all went and had a fun family outing!! The weather could have been a little warmer. It is hard to get out of the hot wather when it is only 40 degrees out!!!!

I think I was trying to fix Mackenzie's foot. It was hurting (see pictures below!)

My kids must get that from their dad because my feet didn't do that!!!
